By now I think everyone knows that our crazy, loving cousin, Joey Mortensen has Pancreatic Cancer. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right and pray for the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy; they just promised that it would be worth it

Rex, I just wanted you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you.... for all you have had to go through this past year. I am humbled at your example, your patients, and your ability to not speak unkindly of anyone. You have shown our family true Christlike behavior. At times that has been seen by some of us as weakness. You have many strengths. I am grateful for your testimony of the Gospel, for the way that you honor your priesthood, your priesthood duties and the service you give to others. You have a great love for the Savior, for your Children and for your Family. Take comfort in the Atonement. Know that Heavenly Father KNOWS you and LOVES you. He knows ALL. He knows the truth as do those that know you and love you.
