Mabel's First Halloween

Halloween Phun

As custom dictates, our children dressed up for the age old
tradition of fighting off evil spirits by dressing as one themselves. Although
I don't think they scared too many evil beings as they were too adorable to
scare anyone, but I know that the evil spirits around them are jealous because
they are the cutest little costumed ghouls around. So with them being so cute
Linell and I dressed up as well. Here is the photographic evidence:

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Well everyone, Lizzie and I went to the doctor today just for a normal check up and to hear the baby's heart beat, but we ended up getting a lot more than that! Since the doctor wanted to have a much more accurate due date than we could give her she decided to do an ultrasound to measure the little tike. She was then suprised at how much the baby was already developed and asked if we wanted to know if it was a boy or girl. Of course we wanted to know and she said, "Well if you look here you can see a little bum, and there are the two legs, and yep there is deffinately an appendage hanging down there, so it is for sure a boy. I mean definate. You can even start shopping if you want." It was so awesome to see him moving all over the place and to hear him. So we found out that Lizzie is 14 weeks 5 days along and she is due on April 21!!!!!! Let us know what you all think as far as names go. So far we have only come up with the last name NOTHUM!!!!! We love all you guys and can't wait to see you back in Missouri for Christmas.
Well, the girls took 3rd at state. Now Rachelle is taking advantage of the few days before basketball starts and is in Idaho with Shanell. I'm sure they are having a GREAT time together!

Fat & Not Loving It!

Guess what I am fat. I didn't know if anyone knew that yet so I thought I would just let you know. :) Anyway I've decided to try to step to the plate and get some of this chunk off. I am writing this on the blog to help me committ myself more to my goal. The more that know that I am trying to let go of the weight, the more pressure it will put on me to keep my comittment. By Thanksgiving I am hoping to have dropped at least 10 pounds. We'll see how it goes.

OOPS

SOME PICS THAT DID NOT MAKE THE FIRST POST.

THE BEST SISTERS EVER

ANNA WAS THE GOAL KEEPER AT HER SOCCER GAME AND SHE PRETTY SERIOUS ABOUT KEEPING HER EYES ON THE BALL THE ENTIRE TIME. SHE KEPT HER HANDS ON HER KNEES AND HER LITTLE BUTT IN THE AIR THE ENTIRE TIME JUMPING AROUND WITH EVERY TURN THE BALL TOOK. MY DAD TOLD HER TO JUMP ON THE BALL LIKE IT WAS A BIG GRASS HOPPER AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID. DURING PRACTICE I HEARD HER TELL A BOY ON HER TEAM IF HE DID NOT STOP TALKING SO SHE COULD PAY ATTENTION SHE WAS GOING TO JUMP ON HIS HEAD LIKE IT WAS A BIG GRASS HOPPER AND HE HUSHED RIGHT UP. ANNA SPEAKS THE TRUTH AND THATS WHY WE ALL LOVE HER. CIARA IS ON A VOLLEY BALL TEAM TOO SHE IS AN AWESOME PLAYER AND RARELY MISSES A SERVE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PICS OF HER BUT THEY WON EVERY GAME. GO GIRLS!!!

Final Four!

After going into the 7th inning down 1 to 2, Rachelle got us started with a double. We ended up scoring 3 runs in the top of the 7th. We just had to hold them ...... It didn't look good as they had a runner on 3rd and 2nd and no outs. But we held on and only let them get one more run in before we made 3 outs. Yea!!! We are on our way to Columbia on Friday for semi-finals. Finals will be played on Saturday.

Elder Cauble

Jameson would like everyone to know that he is going to Sydney Austraila Mission which is pretty much the same as the Ogden Utah Mission. He is excited and leaves on December 6th and return with a sweet accent!

Miss Mabel

FYI Mable has her own blog. You can find it on mabeljoy.blogspot.com

Check it out.

Jr High Homecoming and Softball

Kelsie was one of the Jr. High Homecoming candidates. You'd never know just by looking that she just finished playing a game of basketball! She was crowned the queen.

Well, Rachelle's team won districts. They then won Sectionals and play 1/4 finals Saturday. We are hoping for another win to send us to Columbia for State Finals.

happy b-day kels

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY-------------- YYYEEEEEEEEESSSS (SUPER SATURDAY)!!!!! your 14 years old

Elisabeth is here thanks To Sara and Jake

Dear Everyone,
Elisabeth (the cutest baby sara has ever had) is here and she was born Sunday October 8, 2006 at 12:06 am. she weighed in at 8lb. 4 oz. (Sorry I told some of you wrong over the phone), she was 20 and 1/2 inches long. She is a pretty baby with fair coloring so far. she has light hair of which she has just a little, she has light blue eyes so far. she has good sized feet and broad hands with long fingers and fingernails. she keeps scratching herself. ( we learned not to cut babys fingernails because the skin grows out with the nail so when you cut the nail you cut the skin thus blood under the nail-now you know why that was there you guilty mothers and grandmothers) Instead of cutting the nail you should gently file them. Do you feel smarter already? Sara and Jake did great with the delivery, they have a few stories to tell you will have to get them to do the honors. All are doing well and are excited to come home today. Sara and Jake are as blesses to have Elisabeth as she is to have them. They make a wonderful family with much to look forward to. I am thankful to be able to be here with them in Pennsylvania. Jakes parents are fun wonderful people and that is where all of us will be for a while. I will stay for two to three weeks, unless they kick me out sooner. Being a Grammy has its perks. I love it. Heavenly Father has truly enriched and wonderfully blessed me and my family. Bob and the girls may need some consoleing since they are missing me so much (haleluja she is gone, peace for a short time) and starving (not) that a phone call to check on them may be appreciated. Thank all of you for your love and support in all family matters, we truly have an awesome (not yet perfect) family. I love you, Lois
