As many of you know, our wonderful mother is turning 50 tommorow. She has always done so much for all of us to make us feel special, and always goes out of her way to do extra things for us. This year for her big 50 we are having a surprise party (the reason I can type this here is beacause I know she doesnt know how to get on this blog).
We want all of her siblings to write 2 nice things about her (things admired, funny nice stories, or other good attributes) you can type them here on the blog, and we will combine them to give to her at her surprise party. Late notice ,I know for those of you who live around here, but the party is this Saturday the 12th at 7:00 pm at the Nothum home. We would love all of the adults to come and celebrate with us. Please keep this a secret and dont forget to wish mom a happy Birthday tommorow.

When I think of Lois - I think of "The splinter retriever and the pimple popper. So if your around and have either of these, watch out she will be on the prowl to get them. The sweet interpretation of this is she simply loves to come to your aide and ease yourself of the pain you may be enduring, then help get rid of it.
Do I count too? I love Lois. She reminds me of my mom... I think that's why I love her so much. I love to talk to Lois. Mostly it's over the phone, but I love the conversations we have. I think her kids, and Bob, are amazing people, and I know it's because of the kind of mother and wife she is. I love you Lois! Happy 50th Birthday!
