Joey Mortensen

By now I think everyone knows that our crazy, loving cousin, Joey Mortensen has Pancreatic Cancer. He and Vanessa have set up a web page so we can keep up with his treatments and send and read messages from them and all that love them....I thought I would pass it along to anyone that wants it..(It is nice to be able to laugh amongs the very big tears)

Rex, I just wanted you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you.... for all you have had to go through this past year. I am humbled at your example, your patients, and your ability to not speak unkindly of anyone. You have shown our family true Christlike behavior. At times that has been seen by some of us as weakness. You have many strengths. I am grateful for your testimony of the Gospel, for the way that you honor your priesthood, your priesthood duties and the service you give to others. You have a great love for the Savior, for your Children and for your Family. Take comfort in the Atonement. Know that Heavenly Father KNOWS you and LOVES you. He knows ALL. He knows the truth as do those that know you and love you.

1000 days and counting!!

Hey everyone... I just want to let you know that Ryan and I have been married for 1000 days now! I know its kind of random, but I am excited! I think thats a big number! Ryan is more than I could have ever asked for, and I love him more than ever. Thanks Ryan for an amazing 1000 days and I can't wait for a million more! <3

We just want to tell the news to everybody, who doesnt know yet.... get ready.... I'm pregnant(Irina speaking, haha). We are really excited and we appretiate all the congrants that we got from you. The due date is on December 6th. We are excited to come home in couple of weeks and see everybody. You are all invided to come and swim at our pool this summer, thats where all the parties will be everyday, haha just kidding!!!! Love you all, Brad and Irina

We just had a fun photo session with a good friend. Just wanted you to see some pictures of us. Elisabeth is getting very big and is strongly showing us that she can be "little miss independent"Isaac is crawling and pulling himself up to everything, he is so much fun, and usually a very happy boy.

Making it through the freezing weather in Rexburg aka Iceburg

Bradly and me are here in Rexburg with all the freezing weather. Finally, it is starting to thaw out. We mostly pass the time in library, gym, or walking around in Wal-mart. Bradly has been running a lot, but Todd and Laura give us so much ice cream, its hard to tell that he has ran so much. We are moving home to Willard for the summer. We will have an apartment by the Police station. There will be a pool, hot tub, and party room. So, anybody want to party!? Come on over!

Everyone needs to know that even though this is a hard economic time for all of us, this Summer is going to be the Summer of Fun!! So get your party pants on!

Savanna Will Be Eight!!!

So our little girl will be 8 tomorrow. She is so excited and wanted to invite everyone to attend her Baptism on the 21st of March at 6:30pm at the Willard Ward Building. We understand not everyone will make it but she would love to see you there! Here is what her announcement looks like.

Mission Call

wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! I GOT MY CALL, AND I'M WAY PUMPED! I'm going to the Tempe Arizona, Spanish speaking Mission! I'm soo soo soo excited. I enter the MTC on the 15th of April, so basically REALLY SOON! Plus, I'm going to be going to the Temple soon, and i'm way excited! All the mexican's out there better watch out, cause here I come! woohoo! I'm soo so excited, and I'm pumped to get so many letters from everyone!

February 2009

Friday the 13th we went to a roller skating rink for my sister-in-laws birthday. Ryan and I weren't going to skate because we had to leave shortly after we surprised her. Nevertheless, Tuck threw a fit and had a complete meltdown... so Ryan decided we would let Tuck skate with his Uncle Sean for just a little bit. We found out it was free for kids under 3, including the skates, so it turned out great. Tucker loved it! Then, Saturday, Brad, Irina, my sister Nikki, Ryan, and I all went to see the movie Bolt in the theater with Tucker. It was his first movie at a movie theater (except one time when he was a tiny baby). I think he did good maybe because we kept handing him more candy : ) . Then we went out to dinner to one of my favorite places called the Pizza Factory... surprisingly... the service was horrible... and in the end, Irina and I both got $20 gift certificates. It was a great weekend! We hope all of you guys had a great Valentine's Day as well! Love you all!

Tucker thought it was funny to chase Emmitt around with the broom. They had a lot of fun together they chased each other all over the place for over an hour and would fall over laughing. It was pretty funny, but one serious question Ryan and Lizzie do you spank Tucker with a broom? Is that how he learned this?

What do you get when.....

What do you get when the outside temperature reads about 1 degree farenheit? What do you get when the wind chill is -4 outside? I'll tell you what you get. You get Victoria & Matt's wedding!!! The newlywed's were looking excited to be together but when it came time for pictures.......it was cold.

For those of you who gave stuffed animals thank you. They are being sent all over the world to children who are with out parents because of neglect or abuse we collected over 1,000 it was a lot of fun. It filled Emmitt's whole room we were literally ran out of our house by stuffed animals it was pretty crazy.
